New England Summer Vacation - 2015

My boyfriend Ransom and I had such a perfect week relaxing at the ocean. 
We stayed at the Weekapaug Inn located in Westerly, Rhode Island.





 Good Morning :-)







We went to Weekapaug Beach every day and we were blessed with perfect weather the entire week! It's so nice that the staff at the beach house brings hotel guests their towels, umbrellas, and chairs. Then at the end of the day they pick everything up so that we didn't have to carry anything :-) Thank you!


It was so quiet and peaceful just listening to the waves crashing :-)











The hotel gave us beach passes for my daughter and her friends. 
It was such a nice surprise when they came to visit us twice during our stay!

We dug a whole in the sand for Nicole's baby bump so she could lay on her belly :-)


















We found this awesome restaurant called Bridge the second night that we were on vacation. We loved it so much that we ate there every night and even stopped for lunch on our last day before we headed home :-)


Everything about Bridge was perfect. The atmosphere, the view, the entertainment, the servers, and the food was delicious!! The menu was perfect with surf & turf, a raw bar, and there were many vegetarian options for me :-) We loved sitting at the bar overlooking the water.


black bean burger guacamole, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, wheat bun, sweet potato fries, w/ squash
buffalo tofu bites - I got this without the spicy buffalo sauce - Comes with Blue Cheese. Delicious!!!

    Oh my goodness, Lisa- this is where I grew up!!! I've been missing it so badly this summer- that's when RI is at its best. Looking through your photos put a smile on my face. It's so lovely there. Did you see a little store/sandwich place near the beach? I worked there in the summer during college. It's such a beautiful place. I loved just driving around all the time. Next year my husband and I are going to the Ocean House for our anniversary. I CANNOT WAIT.

      Hi Vicky, You must have loved growing up there, it's so beautiful!!! I don't remember seeing the little store near the beach but I will look next time we visit :-) I am so glad you enjoyed the photos! Looking forward to seeing your pics from your anniversary next year XO!
