RIP My Daddio XOXO 

10/19/43 - 6/3/16

It has been two weeks today since my father, Roger Maynard, 72, passed away. He spent his last hours at home looking over the lake while surrounded by his loving family.  We were all holding him and telling him how much we love him until the moment he took his last breath. His genuine love for life and his incredible humor kept him smiling and cracking jokes right up until the end. My dad fought an amazing battle for the past two years against small cell lung cancer that had traveled into his brain, adrenals, and liver. He was diagnosed the week of Father's Day 2014. He showed us all how to live every day to the fullest and to never give up. He was such a strong, loving, devoted, and caring man who found beauty in everything. I am honored to call him my father.

We had such a beautiful celebration of his life on 6/18/16 with close friends and family. Thank you all for being there XO
