I got this idea to makeover our dining chairs from a Robb Report magazine. I was instantly inspired when I came across this ad for Christian Lacroix for Roche Bobois chairs that sell for $1,470 each! To re-cover the cushions I purchased 3 yards of fabric at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store for a total of $12.95! To create the faux brass look I purchased 2 cans of Rust-Oleum Metallic Paint & Primer In One (color pure gold) for $14.86. I also used a staple gun and painters tape.
