LINKUPWITHLISA #81 - HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! Brown and Black Outfit

Every year our family tradition is to celebrate Christmas Eve at my dad & step mothers house. This year will be very different because seven months ago my father passed away from cancer. He crossed over peacefully in his home surrounded by all of us holding him and telling him how much we love him. I try not to focus on the fact that he is gone and I fill my head with images of when he was healthy and full of life. I feel like his love and energy was left here when he crossed over, and now it fills our hearts even more. I can still hear him laughing and feel him hug me as he looks into my eyes and calls me "sweets." Images of him stoking the fire and dressed up as Santa are still fresh in my mind. His love for life and his love for everyone he met was contagious. I miss my daddio every day and I am so grateful for all of the beautiful memories that he left behind. I will post our family Christmas photos for next weeks linkup. Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday full of lot's of love!!!
